Top local blues singer/songwriter Emily Druce will kick off the first date of her first national tour tomorrow night in Haworth.

Emily will be promoting her new CD New Day with the gig at Parkside Social Club in Butt Lane.

The guitarist and singer, who has become an established artist and has worked with Dr Feelgood and Mary Coughlin, will be joined by bass player Kevin Willoughby.

Emily's talents are showcased on her latest 15-track album, New Day.

On the evidence of these songs - mostly written by Emily herself - her performance this weekend will be a pretty laid-back affair.
