Last details of promotion and relegation were settled in the league programme last weekend - but cup competitions still have some way to go.
Skipton Bulldogs, champions of the Silentnight Premier Division ended their league campaign with a 7-0 victory over relegated Skipton Town. Skipton LMS, who finished in runners-up spot, also defeated Town 7-0 in midweek.
Cross Hills also suffered relegation despite beating Embsay 5-1 on Thursday. They could only draw 3-3 with a strong Carleton side the following night which left Grindleton needing maximum points from their last match against Oxenhope Recreation.
The Ribble Valley side secured a 3-1 victory to remain in the top flight after a nail-biting end to the season.
Oxenhope finished their programme with a 3-1 victory over Grassington United. They have a host of exciting young players who are now coming good and they could be one of the teams to watch next season.
After securing the Division One title in midweek, Bronte Wanderers Reserves lost the last match of the season. Their game against Barnoldswick United was a rehearsal for the cup final when they will be hoping to reverse their 2-1 defeat.
Cononley Sports had already finished runners-up and at the foot of the table Embsay Reserves pulled off a great escape act after looking certain to be relegated only a few weeks ago. They won their final match against Cowling 2-1 to send Hellifield Sports into Division Two alongside Gargrave.
Waddington had remained unbeaten in Division Two until their penultimate match when they met Skipton Bulldogs Reserves. The Skipton side had been struggling for survival, but star first team forward Chris Simpson scored two goals to secure the win.
The Ribble Valley club also drew with Skipton LMS reserves aided by first team player Paul Ryder.
Waddington were left needing to win their last game, against Bradley Reserves, by 17 clear goals to take the title. They gave it a tremendous effort and scored 11, but Bradley Reserves scored twice. That result gave the title to Oxenhope Recreation Reserves on goal difference with Waddington runners-up. Both teams are promoted and will grace Division One next season.
But the decision of Skipton clubs to play senior players has been criticised by league secretary Peter Marsden. "Why clubs have to play first team players when they have second team players as substitutes is beyond me - cheating is the word that comes to mind," he said.
Bradley Reserves and Silsden Athletic are relegated from Division Two.
Last night Barnoldswick United were due to play Bronte Wanderers Reserves in the final of the Devonshire Carpets Division One Cup with Bronte desperate to complete the double.
On Monday Oxenhope, holders of the trophy, will meet Skipton LMS in the Premier Division Cup Final at Cross Hills. Oxenhope are hoping to overcome their injury crisis and retain the cup.
Both semi-finals in the Northern Plant Hire Challenge Cup failed to be completed on Monday evening. Skipton Bulldogs and Cross Hills could not get started on the waterlogged ground.
Skipton LMS and Embsay were locked together at 2-2 in extra time when the referee had to abandon the match because of failing light and torrential rain. The matches will now be played next Thursday, with the final at Gargrave on Friday, May 17.
