STEVE BARKER flew in from Ireland and clinched the West Riding County Trophy for Steeton with a thrilling late goal.
The electricity worker has been one of the main ingredients in the Summerhill side's spectacular season and he pulled the winner out of the hat when it really mattered.
Barker was put clear and found himself with only the Hunsworth keeper to beat. He calmly drew the goalie off his line and tucked the ball in the corner of the net.
"It was a marvellous moment, but the whole team has been working for that all season," said manager Jez Fay.
But the celebrations seemed a long way off as Hunsworth dominated the early minutes of the game. They raced in to attack the Steeton defence and were celebrating themselves as they took a 2-0 lead within the first ten minutes.
The early goals were scored by Steve Oakes and Richard Munt.
The South Craven side faced an uphill struggle, but as they showed in the semi-final victory over Churwell Lions they are prepared to fight to the bitter end.
Slowly they began to battle their way back into the game and Mick Gilmartin scored their opening goal, from the moment that goal hit the back on the net the Steeton side continued to grow in confidence.
Andy Lamb, who has recently moved up from second team football, showed all his skills as he began to dominate midfield. Centre backs Tom Whitwham and 17-year-old Lee Barker, who were both back in the side after injury, forged a solid partnership to deny the Hunsworth attack.
Tireless Danny Gaudiosi, (pictured) the smallest member of the team didn't stop running throughout the 90 minutes and his effort brought the equaliser.
Both teams had chances in the tense exchanges which followed and Jody Proctor kept Steeton on the boil with some slick play, but it was Barker who had the final say with his clinical last-gasp goal.
"To go 2-0 down wasn't the best of starts, but we just had to knuckle down. We have shown in the past they we will never give up and the lads proved that again. They are a super bunch of lads both on and off the field and really showed how much they were prepared to work for each other," said Fay.
He added: "Now we have to go on and make sure we get promoted, and win the league. We also have a big match against Silsden in the Keighley Cup, but we are really looking forward to that one."
