Bulls coach Brian Noble today hailed his troops after they passed a test of stamina with flying colours against Castleford.
Last night's 32-8 victory put the World Club champions four points ahead in the Super League table, and any worries about Bradford fading after playing their second game in five days evaporated after the interval at The Jungle
"They made us work really, really hard and they understood that we had played on Monday," said Noble.
"That could have been a factor towards the end, but we finished the stronger. I am delighted. We played tough rugby and that was reflected in the scoreline.
"I wouldn't really like to single anybody out - it was just a huge team effort.
"They stuck together and worked together and they are beating themselves up about the little things that they didn't do right."
Added Noble: "We had talked about being tougher in defence and not giving starts away, and with the ball we did enough.
"Robbie Paul had his best game of the season. He was sharp.
"And it was a freaky try to finish with, Lesley Vainikolo 'swimming' 15 metres to pick a ball up and then taking off and giving it to Nathan McAvoy, who made a big impact after coming on at half-time.
"Also it was nice to see Danny Gartner back for us. Also Lesley has been hit and miss with injuries, and he has got through a game, which is great. And he can only get fitter and better."
