AUSSIE Daniel Rowe bagged a seven wicket haul for Green Lane but it was all in vain.
They lost their Airedale and Wharfedale League Division A match to visitors North Leeds. Rowe returned seven for 59 as North Leeds made 146 but Lane gave a poor batting display and were dismissed for 102 as Barry Singleton struck with three for 11 and Nick Richardson with five for 51.
The result was a blow to Lane's title hopes with North Leeds, Follifoot and Steeton overtaking them.
Green Lane's defeat has seen them slip to fifth place.
One bowler who was on the winning side was Guiseley's Peter Graham. The former Bradford League star showed his pedigree with a six for 37 return which upset leaders Adel.
His efforts saw Adel bowled out 27 runs short of the Guiseley total of 192-8 of which Mark Ross made 59 and Glen Taylor 45.
Adel remain at the top but their lead has been narrowed to two points with Follifoot moving into second place after their win over Burley.
Opener David Pike struck a superb unbeaten 107 for Burley but it was not enough as Christian Newton (70) and Paul Miller (46) led a successful Follifoot run charge which saw them win by seven wickets. The former West Indies Test player Deryck Parry took three for 69 for Follifoot despite feeling the brunt of Pike's attacking play.
Steeton moved up to third place after humiliating Menston with all-rounder Grant Lindsay leading the way.
The overseas player hit 39 as Steeton piled up a massive 248-8 and then he took eight for 30 as Menston capitulated for a mere 47.
The bottom three remain unchanged Burley still struggle a point ahead of Menston and Rawdon.
Rawdon visited Beckwithshaw who made 192 thanks to good knocks from P Thompson with 79 and S Barker with 51.
Neil Waite attempted to stem the tide with a fine six for 57return and he was also his side's top scorer with 41 as they fell for 167 in reply. Craig Walsh made 32 but Matthew Smart (5-64) and Kevin Lowe (3-56) gave their side a 25-run win.

The Airedale and Wharfedale League cup programme resumes on Sunday with third round matches in both the Waddilove and Birtwhistle Cups.
Waddilove Cup - Hall Park v Beckwithshaw, Bilton v Rawdon, Pool v North Leeds, Guiseley v Follifoot.
Birtwhistle Cup - Burley v Upper Wharfedale, Steeton v Bilton, North Leeds v Otley, Follifoot v Guiseley.
