A big weekly antiques market, which was to have opened at Bradford's Wool Exchange today, has been postponed for about four weeks. The market, which was expected to attract dealers and collectors from all over Britain and abroad, has been put off because today's opening would have been too rushed.

Hundreds of blind or near-blind people in Bradford will soon have a better chance of regaining their sight when the Cornea Grafting Bill, which has passed through Parliament and received the Royal assent, becomes effective. The Bill provides regulations under which the cornea from dead people may be given to provide sight for the living.
