Keighley Nu Metal rockers Deepfill are back to make some noise with a series of local gigs next month.
The local band, who throw rock, metal, funk and punk into the mix, play Pennington's Night Club in Bradford on July 4 as support to Violent Delight, Rio's Night Club in Bradford on July 5 with support from Pitfall and Diavalo, and Leeds Rocket on July 6 with support from Flukeshot Frenzy.
The local group, which has members from both Keighley and Bradford, was formed in August 2001 from the remnants of the band Thrush Puppy.
Guitarist Alex Boyce, Darren Akeroyd on bass and Ian Atkinson on drums were joined by second guitarist Andrew Waddington and vocalist Pete Blagg.
Under the tutorship of manager and former Skeletal Family bass man Trotwood, the band has recorded a five-track demo and has been winning over fans with energetic and very loud live performances.
Alex, 19, describes Deepfill's sound as a mix between bands such as Incubus, early Deftones, Metallica and Muse.
He says: "We are developing a good live following with plenty of people slam dancing to the music at our gigs.
"It's going pretty well at the moment and we are trying to line up some more gigs in the Keighley area."
