Overseas star Tariq Haroon once against justified his air-fare with a magnificent performance with bat and ball for Saltaire.

He hit a majestic 102 for Saltaire at Roberts Park as the home side managed 199 all out.

On another day this could have been a chaseable target, but not with Haroon on this sort of form.

After a well-deserved tea, he then took a cracking seven wickets for 35 as Brighouse were dismissed for just 82, handing Saltaire a comfortable victory.

Idle collapsed to 49 all out as they were toppled from the top.

Third-placed Mirfield put up just 144 on their visit to the leaders, but Idle failed to come close to the total in a dramatic collapse.

Neil Parkinson took an incredible five for 13 in his ten overs as Idle managed just 49 in 35 overs, with a top score of just 15.

It was a day for the bowlers in the division, with Gomersal's Chris Rhodes taking six for 57 as his side went back to the top of the table.

The leaders put together 186 for nine in their 50 overs, but Salts could manage only 114 in reply. It was finished in 36 overs with Craig Field picking up six catches in the innings as Gomersal took a one-point lead at the head of affairs.

Bankfoot moved to within five points of a promotion spot with Nigel Hanson their danger man with the ball. He took five for 14 in his eight overs as Great Horton managed just 120.

Relegated last season, Bankfoot showed a bit of class in their attempted return to the top-flight, hitting the required runs with eight wickets still in the hutch.

Another bowler to have a good day was Hartshead Moor's Ian Wardlow.

Bowling Old Lane's mini revival (a first win last week) was ended as Moor made 187 all out.

Old Lane did pick up a point as they batted out the overs, but could manage only 95 for six, Wardlow taking five for 18.

In the low-scoring encounter between Keighley and Esholt, Ben Lister took six for 38 as Keighley managed just 75 in 35 overs.

Steven Reape then took six wickets for 21 as Esholt limped to victory with eight wickets down.

Neither Manningham Mills nor Windhill managed three-figures on a tricky wicket.

Despite youngster Ian Nicholson hitting an impressive 46, Windhill managed just 94 all out in 30 overs. But another youngster, Craig Wiseman, stepped in with five for 27 as Manningham were dismissed for 86.

Some batsmen did manage some serious runs with half-centuries from Richard Nichols, Pat Fordham and Mark Best helping Bradford and Bingley to 294 for seven against Drighlington.

Desperate for six points to keep promotion a possibility, skipper Fordham declared with five overs left to give them extra time to bowl out the opposition. The ploy worked as Drighling-ton were dismissed for 172, handing all six points to Bingley.
