Careers officers in Bradford were "delighted" today at the success of the Telegraph & Argus campaign to pave the way for more job opportunities for the city's unemployed teenagers. Following last week's feature of the Job Creation project, numerous enquiries have been made about the scheme and at present are being investigated.

The annual Music Festival of Lidget Green Allied Clubs attracted some 2,500 people when it was held in the cricket field at Lidget Green. Music was provided by the Great Horton Citadel Salvation Army Band, with their bandmaster, Mr. F.Senior, and the St. Wilfrid's Church Lads' Brigade. Dr. Margaret Sharp made an appeal on behalf of St. Monica's Home.
