Ilkley Harriers
Shirley Wood and Anna Liuba were 45th in the Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon at the weekend, completing the 31km Carrock Fell class in 7h09; and Alison and Graham Weston were 49th in 7h22.
In the Skiddaw fell race, 9m and 2700ft, Pete Shields was 64th and fourth Vet-50 in 1h28.19.
Down on the roads Andy Wade was in the prizes in tenth position in Sunday's Harrogate 10k despite a 'personal worst' of 36.16; Mark Iley was 21st in 37.52 and Amanda Parnaby ran 56.34.
In the Skipton 10k, the same day, Ilkley results were: Neil Chapman 38.56; Andy Wolfenden 44.56; Martin Heath 46.00; Victoria Wright 46.38; Linda Wright 48.02; Andrew Wright 50.18; Susan Kennedy 52.14; Bernie Gibbons 52.15; Elaine Ibbotson 53.28; Jane Cullingham 57.00; Helen Sturges 62.00.
Daniel, Frances and Joseph Ibbotson all ran well in the 2.5K Fun run, as did the Kennedy children Thomas, George, and Isobel.
In yet another 10k, over a scenic course at Pudsey, Margot Dale ran 58 minutes to pick up the prize for first lady Vet-50.
There was a a fantastic turn out at the Danefield Relays last Wednesday, so well done to team organisers, Dennis Ackroyd and Alison Bennett.

Ladies Open: Alison Crane (24.38), Karen Page (25.19), Jane Leather (25.27) Total time 1.15.24. V50 Team: Peter Ellis (26.21), Eric Philipson (26.12), Dennis Ackroyd (24.14) Total time 1.16.47.
V40 Ladies: Janet Hebbert (30.56), Joyce Marshall (25.14), Linda Iball (29.08) Total time 1.25.18. A couple of other Harriers ran with Andy Kitchen doing 25.22 and Anna Liuba 26.45.
The day before, Ilkley had another good turnout of 18 Harriers at the final event in the Harrogate Road League. Harrogate beat Ilkley on the day in the ladies and lady vets but Ilkley retained their overall lead in both to become champions.
Ilkley also have some individual prizewinners in this and these will be revealed next week.
