Three teenage recruits joined Bradford City's senior players when they returned to prepare for the new season in the Third Division at Valley Parade yesterday. Barry Gallagher, a 16-year-old midfield player, who has just left St Bede's Grammar School Bradford, is to sign as a professional, while two 17- year-olds, forward Ray Ellington (Belle Vue GS) and centre half Peter Jackson (Greenhead GS Keighley) have been taken on the ground staff.

Although changes might be made, the National Health Service was here to stay whatever political party was in power, said Mr. H. Trusson, secretary of the Bradford "A" Hospital Management Committee last night. His view was that an adequate medical service was the right of every citizen regardless of his income. "The service creaks and groans in many ways," he said, "but at least everyone has the opportunity of a family doctor and specialist service if he needs it."
