Chris Caisley says Great Britain should never again have a one-off Test against Australia in mid-season.
The Bradford Bulls chairman was speaking in the wake of Britain's record 64-10 humiliation at the Aussie Stadium in Sydney yesterday.
"I said the one-off Test idea was wrong when it was decided," said Caisley. "It interrupts our season and I could not see any benefit for us.
He added: "I don't mind internationals if they are meaningful, but this
wasn't meaningful.
"If you had asked Australia to come over here for a Test and play it five days after they land, I think they would have said 'No'.
"If we do go over there again then we have to play some warm-up games, play three Tests and take the best players we have got for each position, instead of playing people out of position.
"But quite frankly after this 'flogging', Australia aren't going to be interested in us coming over there anyway."
Caisley praised the Bulls' Stuart Fielden for making some big hits for Britain early on.
