If you are going to inflict a third defeat in a row on Pudsey Congs then you might as well do it in style.
And Undercliffe's Faisal Afridi did just that, flogging three giant boundaries off the last three balls as Congs were vanquished in beautiful sunshine at the Britannia Ground.
The seven-wicket win was recorded with a steepling six which saw the treble-chasing champions knocked off the top of the pile for the first time this season.
Despite a spirited half-century from Glen Roberts, Congs were always struggling on the flat track and were flattered by their 201 for nine scoreline.
Everyone wants to beat Congs at the moment and the visitors were no different with Chris Taylor and Toby Drummond hitting impressive half-centuries to seal the win.
The balance of power has been shifting down Pudsey high street in recent weeks and the consistent St Lawrence picked up the four points needed at Baildon to rise into top spot.
Stewart Smith's inspirational 116, combined with a useful 51 from Gary Fellows, helped St Lawrence to an impressive 279 for five.
Baildon were always going to play for the point and a long 92 from Simon Davies ensured that it was achieved with three wickets to spare.
East Bierley put out a statement of intent with a comprehensive win over Spen Victoria.
Despite a distinct lack of available bowlers, Jaffer Nazir once again earned his overseas wage, taking seven for 28 as the home side were reduced to just 76.
Skipper Rob Burton took three at the other end as the innings was completed in just 32 overs.
In less than 17 overs victory was achieved for the loss of one wicket as East Bierley continue to cling on to the outside chance of further slip-ups by the Pudsey sides.
Yeadon were the only one of the bottom three teams to pick up a point with Cleckheaton losing at home to Hanging Heaton and Lightcliffe losing out emphatically to Woodlands.
Hanging Heaton managed 187 for eight against the side second from bottom, but big John Carruthers and Ajit Bhoite ensured it was always going to be too big a total with Cleck dismissed for just 134.
Farsley posted 225 for eight in their allotted overs despite Grant Soames' best figures of the year, recording seven for 62.
And Ian Philliskirk 52 and decent knocks from four other players helped Yeadon to bat out time, finishing on 216 for eight in a high-scoring losing draw.
Woodlands' Safraz Ahmed moved onto 42 wickets for the summer with another five in the destruction of Lightcliffe for 90.
A Tim Orrell 53 was the mainstay of the reply which yielded a six-wicket win and sixth place for Woodlands.
