A fight outside a Keighley nightclub in the early hours of Sunday left five people requiring hospital treatment.
Six men were arrested and held in custody following a brawl involving between 15 and 20 people outside the Fusion club, in North Street, just after 2am.
Police investigating the incident believe that two men of Iraqi descent left the club following a dispute with a woman inside the building.
Shortly afterwards it is thought a group of men followed them outside and a row took place, which then escalated in Albert Street.
Five men were taken to Airedale Hospital for treatment to various injuries, including broken bones, cuts and bruises. They were not detained.
The six arrested men have all been bailed pending forensic examinations and further inquiries.
Det Sgt Jeff Ashton is appealing for any witnesses to come forward and help the police with their inquiries.
He said the police were not treating the incident as a racially motivated attack at the moment.
Any witnesses are asked to call Keighley police on 01535 617059 or 617083.
