It was sport for all as Baildon Gala's fancy dress parade snaked its way through the sun-drenched village.
Scores of youngsters - from tots to teens - took part in the sports-based procession which featured everything from a furry 'David Bearkham', junior Grand Prix driver to a mini version of the Oxford and Cambridge boat race teams and even a surfer.
Hundreds attended the gala itself, organised by Baildon and District Round Table. It is set to raise thousands of pounds for St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds and Bradford's Nightstop homeless charity.
Along the Aire Valley youngsters dressed as Elvis, DJ Chris Evans and Boris Becker were among those taking part in East Morton's 40th anniversary gala parade. Having cheered the procession - complete with 12-year-old gala queen Laura Burchell and her attendants - through the village, the crowds enjoyed an afternoon of fun featuring everything from rock and roll dancing to the thrills and spills of a trials motorbike stunt riding display.
Elsewhere in the district Bradford's Industrial Museum hosted a steam weekend, featuring a collection of miniature steam engines made by engineer Frank Woodall.
Drums welcomed graduates of Bradford's Cathedral Centre to a family fun day marking its 21st anniversary. And visitors to West Bowling's Parkside Sports Centre got into step during a series of dance workshops run by Dance for Life and the Bradford Trident scheme.
