MICHELLE SMITH has earned a place among Britain's top shooters
Michelle pictured), a member of Keighley Rifle and Pistol Club, turned in a top class performance at the National Shooting Meeting held at Lauder in Scotland last week.
She won Class A, the second highest class in the sport, and in the process won eight trophies and nine medals.
Because she was on such good form she was also selected to shoot for the English Ladies and Senior team, helping them both to win their competitions.
He list of victories included: Competition 3 aggregate, competition 4 aggregate, Overall aggregate, Highest scoring lady in the aggregate section. Early birds competition, Class A; the Women's Championship and the County league and medal holders overall contest.
Her success put her in eighth place overall and earned her a place in Class X which is reserved for the top 100 shooters in Britain.
