Two ten-year-old boys have been traced by the police and questioned about the desecration of a grave in Wyke churchyard. Last Friday a stone slab covering the grave at St. Mary's Church, Wyke, Bradford, was found to have been moved and the lid forced off the coffin inside. It was the latest of many acts of vandalism at the church in recent years.

The popular belief that young people today were unwilling to make any effort on their own behalf was repudiated by Mr. W.A. Teale, leader of the Central Youth Club, Keighley, last night. Speaking at the club's annual meeting, he said their 250 members during the past year had paid or raised more than £400 towards the club's maintenance. Membership was limited to 250 and there was a waiting list.
