Keighley printer Raiseprint plc is this year celebrating its "coming of age" -- a milestone 21 years in business.
Established in 1981 by current managing director Steve Bell, at Hermit Hole, Keighley, the firm initially printed personalised stationery for a local customer base.
Raiseprint's history is one of development, diversification, investment and year-on-year growth.
Expansion saw the company move to larger premises three years later, followed in 1995 by a lock, stock and barrel transfer to the existing headquarters in Royd Way, Keighley, a move again necessitated by burgeoning order books.
Raiseprint adopted plc status in 1997 and two years ago the premises were extended with the provision of a three-storey annexe housing the expanded design studio and sales office.
Over the years, Raiseprint has invested heavily in the latest state-of-the-art printing equipment and technology. This year, the company installed a new five-colour Komori printing press, which doubled the company's previous capabilities and has already produced a significant number of new business gains.
