A balloon released as part of the Queen's golden jubilee celebrations has been found in Germany.
Keighley man Andrew Gallagher, 36, who attends Keighley Resource Centre, entered the centre's balloon race and is amazed that the balloon travelled so far.
He recently received a letter from a German man, Werner Hahn, from Birkenstrauch, who found the balloon with Andrew's contact details.
The letter said: "I found the red balloon while walking through a forest near my home town. Many greetings from Germany."
Andrew's balloon scooped both prizes in the race as being both the first one back and the balloon to have travelled the furthest. He won a meat voucher and a food hamper.
The balloons were released at the centre on Oakworth Road as part of the jubilee celebrations on May 31.
