Detectives are still baffled by the disappearance of a young Asian woman who was seen being dragged unconscious from the wreckage of a stolen car earlier this month.
She was seen being pulled from a white Toyota after it smashed through a wall at Bradley Fore, Bradley, at 9.50am, on Tuesday, July 2.
A witness saw an Asian man carry the woman - aged between 15 and 20 - from the wreckage and put her into a red car, which had been following the Toyota along the A629.
The woman, who was dressed in white Asian-style clothing, has not been seen since.
Appeals to the Asian communities in Bradford and Keighley - where she is believed to be from - have met a blank, said Det Sgt Pete Martin, of Skipton police.
Inquiries at emergency units at hospitals, including Airedale, and with GPs had been fruitless.
He added: "We are still very concerned about her well-being and would urge anyone with information to contact us."
He said they were also keen to learn about what happened to the Toyota car after it was stolen from an address in Eccleshill, Bradford.
"The owner parked it after he finished the nightshift at 2am on the Tuesday. When he woke at 11am it was gone."
The registration number is F530 MCH.
The main Kildwick to Skipton Road was closed for more than three hours after the incident.
People with information should telephone Skipton police on 01756 793377.
