Keighley club captain Mike Cooper and Neil Cowan won the Skipton Building Society regional qualifier at the Belfry last Thursday.
Not only did the pair win through to the national finals to be played on the Brabazon course in October, but they took prizes for the longest drive by Mike and nearest the pin by Neil, who was only nine inches away from winning a brand new Mini with his tee shot.
The Scratch team won on Friday at home to Woodhall Hills, taking five of the eight points. Ian Houldsworth and Michael Chapman both recorded good wins and anchor man Andy Utley birdied the last to halve his match.

Branshaw Rabbit Captain's Day on Saturday raised a marvellous sum of more than £1,000 for Keighley Kiddicare.
Rabbit captain Jimmy Brown said: "There was a tremendous response from local people who gave donations, and a really good turnout for the presentation and fund-raising evening.
"I would like to thank all who helped to make it such a fantastic day and helped to raise such a good amount for Kiddicare.
