Leeds and Bradford Triathlon Club look like having four representatives at the World Championships in Cancun in November after successful trials.

Veteran Peter Howard will represent Britain in his age group (65-69yrs) after finishing 357th overall in a time of 2hrs 15min 33sec at the Shropshire Triathlon.

Cameron McCready was 19th in the 55-59 age group with a total time of 2-57-44, finishing 433rd and has also been offered a place at the World Championships.

They will be joined by Richard Makin, who was 13th slot in the 45-49yrs group with 2-19-56 and 194th overall. Fourth qualifier was Mark Roberts. He gained World Championship qualification with a time of 2-10-00 at the Bournemouth standard distance event.
