A pensioner was punched in the face and had his £20,000 car stolen by three men whom he suspects followed him.
The incident happened at 11.40pm on Tuesday outside the man's Gomersal home.
Police said the 62-year-old noticed his vehicle was being followed by a car from Chain Bar in Cleckheaton.
As he got out of his car at home, he was approached by two men, one of whom punched him in the face and demanded the car keys.
He handed them over and the two made off in his silver Mercedes, followed by a third man driving the car which had been following him.
The pensioner, who was shocked but didn't need hospital treatment, described the three men as Asians aged between 20 and 25 years, 5ft 10in tall, with northern accents.
The incident follows two similar cases in the area.
On May 9, in Heckmondwike, a 16-year-old was punched in the face and had his £1,400 car stolen by three Asian youths who had come to look at his J-reg Toyota Corolla, which was for sale.
And on May 29 a Birstall couple were also forced to hand over the keys to their white Subaru Impreza by three Asian youths, one of whom carried a wrench.
