Sainsbury's employees in Keighley are guaranteed a taste of their own products following the opening of a new staff restaurant.
For caterer Eurest -- called in to provide the service for the Cavendish Street store's 330 staff -- uses only Sainsbury's own-brand products in the dishes it creates.
The policy has been adopted nationally by Eurest as part of its £40 million annual turnover contract to supply catering for staff at all Sainsbury's 431 UK stores.
The menus also reflect recipes developed as part of in-store cooking demonstrations provided by Sainsbury's for its customers.
The new Keighley restaurant offers a full English breakfast service and a range of modern and traditional dishes, changed daily and with regional variations.
Mark Davis, staff-restaurant project manager for Sainsbury's, said: "We awarded Eurest our catering contract because we wanted to bring in a specialist to provide a consistent and dedicated service across all of our stores.
