Flags Hotel, at Cullingworth, has completed the acquisition of the Three Sisters Hotel, in Haworth. The deal brings the two neighbouring flagship Bront Country hotels under the same ownership.
Behind the project are husband and wife Joe and Mandy Bardgett, from Cullingworth, who took over at the Five Flags last October and have since instigated a major extension and refurbishment programme throughout the hotel.
For the past ten years, the Three Sisters has been run by another well-known couple, Gerald and Glenis Hey, of Haworth. Under their tenure, the hotel was developed extensively.
Mandy said: "Together, the two hotels offer extensive catering, function, leisure, conference and accommodation facilities. While they will be run in tandem with each other and be marketed together, each retains a distinct individuality and personality.
"We are confident that our investment will create partner hotels in the heart of Bront Country that will hold enhanced appeal, not only to people from across the region, but will also have the ability to meet the growing demands of the inbound tourism and corporate markets."
