It was hubble, bubble toil and trouble at Glusburn Primary School.
Because three witches were in school when the pupils gave their rendition of Macbeth.
The infamous Scottish play was among three of Shakespeare's performed in the round at the school. Each was put on by a different class and while the witches cooked up eye of newt and toe of frog, and Macbeth and his wife plotted dastardly deeds, the other two classes performed the Tempest and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
The children also used the opportunity to make their own sound effects, including weather sounds and bubbling noises, using the computer as part of their ICT lessons.
