A charity concert hit a high note as music lovers paid tribute to a "gentle giant" of show business.
An evening of music was staged at the Pop and Pasty Club, in Keighley, in memory of Mike King, who died from cancer in January.
Mr King, from Scott Lane, Riddlesden, touched the lives of many during his 25 years in the music business.
His wife Beverley and daughter Jordanna joined friends and members for the evening of entertainment from the kind of rising stars Mr King used to enjoy promoting. The show began in fine style with Burnley-based guitarist Scott Whittley, followed by singers Helen Claire, from Blackburn, Phillippa Lyons, from Mirfield, and Monty Scott, from Stockport.
Thanks to a healthy audience the event raised £359, which will be used for the benefit of patients on Ward 1 at Airedale Hospital.
"It was an excellent night and the entertainment was first class," said concert organiser John Neale. "It was the perfect way of paying tribute to Mike. We would like to say a big thank you to TMK Entertainments for providing the artists, and to the artists themselves."
Mr King began his life in show business as a drummer in the Seventies and worked with big names such as Twiggy, Marti Caine and Bob Monkhouse. He opened his music agency, Mike King Entertainments, 20 years ago, and continued to perform until the business took off.
More than 400 people packed into Keighley Shared Church for his funeral.
