Golf enthusiasts in the district are urged to pick up their clubs and enjoy a round to raise much-needed cash for the Bradford Lord Mayor's Appeal.
A charity golf competition is planned at Bingley St Ives Golf Club on August 15, but so far only four teams have signed up.
Appeal chairman Josie Pennington said they need around 20 teams of four players to make the event a success.
"We have asked businesses and golf clubs to take part in the event, which includes a light lunch, 18 holes of golf and a four course dinner, when prizes will be presented by the Lord Mayor.
"I would love to hear from anybody with a handicap certificate who wants to put a team in," she said.
The appeal has so far raised £8,930 for children's cancer charity Candlelighters, which is based at St James's Hospital and helps patients from the district and their families.
Anyone who wants to enter the golf competition or donate a prize should contact Josie Pennington on 07778 252 444.
