Hundreds of personal alarms have been given to Keighley people through the town's Neighbourhood Forums.
More than 1,500 alarms were distributed during the 16 public meetings held earlier this summer in Keighley and surrounding villages.
Crime prevention advice was also given, and police officers attended every forum to listen to people's crime and community safety concerns. The forums are hosted by Bradford Council staff to inform people about council services and gather people's views on issues.
A total of 346 people attended the forums, including more than 40 at those in Braithwaite and Ingrow. Riddlesden, Beechcliffe and Hainworth Wood also recorded high attendance. Complaints about behaviour of young people were made at forums in Beechcliffe and Utley, Highfield, Ingrow and Fell Lane.
A group of Lawkholme, Showfield and Stockbridge residents were keen to help combat crime, speeding traffic and poor lighting in their areas. A Youth Service officer will be invited to the next Braithwaite forum to deal with residents' concerns about lack of facilities for young people.
Other issues raised across Keighley included planning, lighting, road repairs and traffic.
