Keighley rock fans drank the place dry when the Undecided staged their comeback gig last week.

The Parkside Social Club, in Haworth, sold all its beer as a 200-plus crowd gathered to watch three bands.

As Wet Paint and Circus warmed up the punters, a raffle raised £40 Manorlands hospice, with winners taking home CDs and T-shirts.

Annette Johnson, wife of Undecided musician Johann Shepherd, says the combination of two top Keighley bands and a new covers band paid off in a big way.

She says Wet Paint made a very impressive debut, with frontman Luke Parker delivering loud vocals and sleek guitar playing of Blur covers.

Then came Circus playing its usual mix of grunge originals and covers by the likes of Nirvana.

"They kept the youth on their toes, moshing away," says Annette. "They were as good as ever."

The Undecided -- playing their first gig in two years -- performed original songs from their "Like a Dove" album.

Annette says: "They started with The Score and The Girl, punky and pacey, and finished with the slow, easy listening sound of Absolute Madness.

"The Undecided, pictured, did not shine as they once did, but after a few practise sessions the new drummer Daniel Green carried the band to safety "

Members of the Undecided, who all have separate musical projects to concentrate on, hope to play another gig before Christmas.
