Club coach Brian Noble today expressed his pride that seven Bradford Bulls players had been named in the Great Britain training squad for the three-match series against New Zealand in November.
Second row Jamie Peacock, prop Stuart Fielden and centre Lee Gilmour, who all travelled to Australia for the recent one-off Test, have been joined by loose forward Mike Forshaw, scrum half Paul Deacon, utility back Leon Pryce and prop Paul Anderson, who is currently out with a broken arm.
Great Britain assistant coach Noble said: "They are all in the squad deservedly, and to me there are no major surprises.
"We have only named two hookers - Keiron Cunningham and Terry Newton - but if we had named three I am sure James Lowes would have been the other one.
"But the door is not closed for anyone outside the 32 as long as they perform between now and the end of the season."
