David Wetherall today scotched rumours that City players are voting to boycott tomorrow's friendly at Hull.
The Bantams' Professional Footballers' Association representative said there would be the usual players
meeting but nothing more.
"I don't know where this rumour has come from but it is certainly not true," he said.
"It would be fair to say things are as bad as normal at the moment; we will be having our usual daily meeting but there is no plan to strike.
"It is a very difficult and stressful time for us and the next few days are very important for anyone who cares about Bradford City Football Club."
He confirmed the players have still to be paid by the cash-strapped club with the PFA just loaning the players cash to cover expenses.
Although City recorded a win on Saturday, Wetherall admitted the usual pre-season buzz was lacking.
"With the future of the club in doubt, it is clear that the usual excitement of the pre-season is missing," he added.
