Energetic fundraisers are being urged to take part in a two-hour aerobathon in Bradford.
The sponsored workout takes place in Centenary Square on Saturday, August 24, in aid of the Lord Mayor's Appeal.
Fitness fanatics of all ages are welcome to pull on the lycra and take part in the event, from 11am to 1pm. It will be led by aerobics instructor Dayne Whitaker.
Dayne, who lives in Pudsey, has promised to go easy on volunteers by putting together a special session.
"It will be simple routines which everyone can follow," he said. "We will be doing grapevines and lots of jogging, jumps, squats and star jumps.
"Half way through we will have a rest for a quick drink and then carry on. Everyone can do it. Men think you need to go to an aerobics class and have co-ordination but it will be easy."
Organiser Craig Burton, managing director of The Works recruitment agency, said more than 50 people took part in a similar event two years ago.
"We raised £3,000 for the Lord Mayor's appeal in aid of Marie Curie last time and it was a great success," he said. "We have about 25 people signed up so far but we are hoping for at least 100. I will be taking part and fancy dress is optional."
Businesses, including gyms, are being urged to sponsor the event. Brass restaurant in Bradford is donating refreshments.
Bradford Lord Mayor Councillor Richard Wightman, whose chosen charity Candlelighters helps children affected by cancer, said it is a great way to combine keeping healthy with a good cause.
"I am not sure if I will take part yet but I will be supporting people, taking them cool towels and orange squash," he said.
