Alcoholism is a problem in most cities. And according to Mr Ian Davies, director of the Leeds Council on Alcoholism, Bradford needs an alcoholism information centre and a drying out hostel. The information and advice centre in Leeds for alcoholics has been open nearly three years, and 12 per cent of the people attending are from Bradford.
