Fundraisers have been stepping out for Manorlands at home and abroad.
Jenny McGuinness, Rachel Foster and Rupert Atkinson were sponsored to complete a ten-mile walk around Bront country and raised £560 for the charity.
Mrs McGuinness said: "We wanted to raise the money for Manorlands for personal reasons and because it's such a good charity locally.
"We wanted to support it and we'd definitely do something like this again to raise more money."
Father Ben Griffiths went further afield for his fundraising walk and trekked 475 miles across the north of Spain. He walked the Camino de Santiago route, which took him 31 days and four rest days.
"I do a lot of walking and wanted a challenge. I really enjoyed the walk and it was great to be raising funds for Manorlands too," he said.
"I raised £2,707 in total to be split equally between Manorlands and my diocese," he said.
Manorlands fundraiser Chris Bown added: "The money will be put into the general funds, and is much needed. We're extremely grateful for their efforts. It's so nice that people give up their time to help raise money for us."
