Sunday sees this season's first cup final as the second teams of Barrowford and Embsay lock horns at Cononley in the Cowling Cup Final.
The two have been at the head of the Third Division for most of the season. In their only meeting so far the Shires Lane side triumphed by seven wickets.
Since Barrowford joined the league in 1972, the sides have met nine times in the competition. The Red Rose side won the first three, which included two semi-final triumphs.
The sides met in the final of 1999, at Oakworth where the Embsay won by eight wickets.
Barrowford have won the trophy four times while Embsay have been triumphant 11 times which includes seven wins in the 90s.
Both sides have potential match winners and on paper look evenly matched if they play to their potential.
For the Bull Holme side in batsmen they have dependable David Wilkinson, Nigel Hargreaves, Nick Burton and Keith Parkinson. Stuart Barnes and Peter Hakin can do the big hitting.
The latter now leads the attack in the absence of John Cant, which could be the one chink in their armour.
The beaten finalists of last year are well led by long time skipper Alan Robinson.
Brian and Andy Hodgson, Nas Hussain, Paul Barwick, and Wally Robertson pose a batting threat.
Ian Robson, John Metcalfe, Matt Carr Hussain and Andy Hodgson are the five bowlers Robinson will look to do the damage.
There are the ingredients for a final which can be just as close as last year's and which Embsay hope will go their way this time.
The game starts at 1.30pm and is sponsored by Bev and Peter Shuttleworth of The Copy Shop, Keighley.
