Silsden get a chance to re-capture the glory of their County Cup winning run when they take on East Bowling Unity in the West Riding Charity Shield tonight.
The game is to be played at Cougar Park because development work is taking place at the County FA's Woodlesford HQ.
But officials of the Silsden Club see it as a big chance to give interest in local soccer a boost.
"We hope there will be one of the biggest crowds for a local amateur soccer match in recent years, and that they will really get behind their local team," said a club spokesman.
Money raised during the game will go to the charity appeals of the respective Mayors of the districts in which the two clubs play.
"Kick off is at 7.30pm and we hope there will be a large crowd to support the teams and boost the amount donated to charity," said a West Riding FA spokesman.
