Ian Millward believes that the longer Bradford Bulls remain unbeaten at Valley Parade the greater the pressure on them becomes.
The St Helens coach, who brings his team to Bradford for a top-of-the-table clash in front of the Sky TV cameras on Friday, said: "This has proven to be the ultimate club test in British rugby league.
"It has to be because the Bulls have never lost there in the Super League, but the longer their record continues the harder it becomes for them to control it.
"But whether we beat Wakefield or Bradford, the reward is still only two points."
The Australian added: "For the last six matches of the season we want to concentrate on ourselves.
"Consequently we haven't done any tip sheets on Bradford nor watched any videos of them.
"But my players are raring to go and all of them came through the victory over Wakefield unscathed.
"Paul Sculthorpe, who was rested last weekend, and Peter Shiels and Darren Britt will all be back."
