One hundred and twenty employees at a bakery firm have lost their jobs.
Watsons Bakeries Ltd, which had its head office in Liversedge and shops in eight towns, including Cleckheaton, Birstall, Batley and Brighouse, axed the jobs following poor trading.
Stephen Hull and John Twizell, of Geoffrey Martin and Company, have been appointed as the joint administrators to the firm.
Watsons Bakeries, which had a long history of trading losses, has shut its retail outlets to try to cut further losses. The wholesale business, with 35 employees, is still operating under the control of the joint administrators.
Mr Hull said: "We are looking to sell the remaining business and assets of Watsons Bakeries either as a whole or in part."
The firm had a £3.1 million turnover per year and an expansive wholesale customer base, he added.
