South Craven School has bade farewell to one of its longest standing members of staff.
Eunice Robinson is looking forward to retirement and spending more time with her grandchildren after 24 years of teaching at the Cross Hills school. The English teacher said she would be "winding down slowly" and still be doing occasional supply work.
Mrs Robinson, whose former pupils include ex-Bradford City star Lee Duxbury, takes with her many fond memories of the school.
She has particularly enjoyed her role as head of year, a position she has held for ten years.
She said: "I really, really loved being head of year. I've loved every minute of it, you get to know the students much better, you become more approachable. It's been a pleasure and it has been a super school to work for."
Mrs Robinson also found it symbolic that a library that she set up when she first came to the school, coincidentally, was due to close with her departure.
