A grandmother has made a heartfelt plea to her missing granddaughter or anyone who has information of her whereabouts.
Marie Warnock said her 13-year-old grand-daughter Fay Hudson (pictured) was last seen by her family at 9pm on Tuesday at their home on Back Emily Street.
She said: "My daughter Mandy and the whole family are desperately worried about her. We have no idea where she is or if she is safe."
"Fay has been missing once before - a few weeks ago - but not for anywhere near this long. If Fay sees this we just want her to contact us."
Fay is described as about five foot tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. When she was last seen she was wearing a blue blouse and a black vest, black trousers with studs down the sides and black thick-soled shoes.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 01535 617083.
