A 22-year-old man who threw one stone during violent scenes in the Thornton Road area of Bradford has been sentenced to a year in jail.
Tillat Yasin, pictured right, of Aireville Road, Frizinghall, pleaded guilty to a charge of violent disorder relating to his part in the clashes in the city centre last July.
He handed himself in to police after his photograph was published in February and he told officers he had been drinking vodka before getting involved in the disturbance.
His barrister Gerald Hendron revealed that Yasin had been working as a croupier at a casino, but had lost his job as a result of his involvement in the violence.
