Second row Jamie Peacock feels that Bradford Bulls will mount their usual positive response to adversity.
And the 24-year-old wouldn't mind betting that they will win all five of their remaining regular season Tetley's Super League fixtures.
"We are well capable of winning the rest of our games leading up to the play-offs, and then I think we will be playing St Helens home or away," admitted the Great Britain international.
Peacock said he enjoyed playing against Saints because they are a very good team.
But he added: "The true test of a side is how they react to a defeat, and knowing the people we have here they will bounce back."
The 6ft 5in forward said of the 50-22 defeat by Saints last Friday: "It was probably a bit of us being bad and them being good. They blew us away in the last 15 minutes of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second half.
"Things like dropping the ball on the first tackle made it really hard for us to get back into the game."
At least the 15st 12lb Bulls stalwart is happy with his own performances recently.
"My form is improving and has been building for the last four weeks," he said.
"I am beginning to make breaks - when I have got the ball things are happening - and my tackling is going well. My confidence is up."
