Eighteen brave Yorkshire Water workers are to improve their team-working and raise money for cancer research by participating in exciting challenges.
Three groups from the firm will take part in Team Challenge on September 4, at the Nell Bank Centre, Ilkley.
The fun event is to raise money for the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Can... Cancer Research Appeal and the educational centre. Exercises will simulate crossing dangerous terrain at night and even negotiating piranha-infested water.
It costs £600 per team of six and lunch is provided. The day is suitable for companies or groups of individuals.
To book, contact the Bradford Can... Appeal office on (01274) 235482, fax them on (01274) 233298 or e-mail bradfordcan@cancer.org.uk. Pictured teaming up are Yorkshire Water workers, anti-clockwise from centre, Anne Reed, Louise Batty, Julie Cullen, Den Roberts, Craig Spence, Richard Sears, Russel Clarke, Jane Herbert and Karen O'Rourke.
