Guiseley won the Airedale and Wharfedale League's Ian Chappell Cup by defeating Burley in a close final at Beckwithshaw on Bank Holiday Monday.
Guiseley batted first and made a useful total of 177-9 with major contributions from Stewart Goodbold with 30 and young Mark Adams with a fine 37.
Burley's 15 year-old bowler John Caddick performed the best for his side picking up three wickets at a cost of 32 runs.
He was well supported by 14 year-old Scott Etherington who bowled tightly conceding just 12 runs off his six overs.
Burley openers Jeff Colclough and Dave Thomason gave their side a good start with a partnership of 60.
With Colclough holding the innings together at 90-2 Burley looked comfortable but then wickets started to fall in dramatic fashion with Bill Thatcher claiming 4-23.
Colclough was out for 67 and Burley's innings then petered out at 157-8.
Burley had struggled to keep up with the run rate and started to make mistakes as they tried to push the score along.
Guiseley's Bill Thatcher was presented with the Man-of-the-Match award for his wickets and his quick 17 not out at the end of the Guiseley innings.
Guiseley skipper Phil Thomas said: "It was a good day, a good game of cricket and I am delighted that we won."
And Burley secretary Brian Wheeler added: "Burley played well really and some of the young lads did well.
"We were, however, always second favourites in this game and our middle order withered away."
