A spot of Harry Potter magic helped the Hogwarts Express steam to victory in this year's Great Pram Race.
Dave Royce, Nick Howcroft and Brenda Howcroft won the prize for the best-dressed pram with their Hogwarts-themed entry
They were among 28 teams who raced from the Black Bull pub in Cowling, six miles down the valley to the Bay Horse in Sutton.
The first team home for the third year comprised Chris Watson, Chris Swinson and Danny Barton, this time dressed as paramedics.
The proceeds of the race -- as well as fund-raising over the past year -- will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Runners on the day raised £2,086 and sponsor money handed in was over £1,100 - bringing the year's total to date to over £6,500 MS Society official Doug Grainger and several fellow members helped marshal the race on Sunday.
The race was started by Keighley Cougars player Jason Ramshaw, and one of the teams was made up of children including Katie Edwards, Amy Sharkey and Sam Brown.
Other best-dressed prams: male, Paul Sharp, Keith O'Keefe and Bob (St Trinians); female, J Metcalfe, J Metcalfe and R Booker (bumblebees); mixed, Mandy Edwards, John Edwards, R Geddes (Wizard of Oz).
A pub quiz held as part of the fundraising ended last week at the Dog and Gun, Glusburn, with the Old White Bear team winning the final. The night raised £257, which included a £60 bingo prize given back by Dave Hitchins.
Dave and Julie Milnes, former licensees of the Kings Arms, donated £50. The whole quiz -- which ran over 11 weeks -- raised £1282.
