Silsden were without seven first team squad members for Saturday's County Amateur League game against Littletown -- but still managed to put out a strong team.
They didn't have their first real chance until the 23rd minute when Andrew Holden put over a free kick and picked out Martin Bland who headed home.
Four minutes later Littletown wer level when a defensive lapse allowed them to side-foot home.
In the second half Silsden upped their game and started creating chances but were unable to finish.
With 10 minutes to go Sub Andy Geary chipped home.
Adam Ackroyd had an excellent game in the Silsden goal and there were good performances from Michael Rhodes, Gavin Finn and Gary Lund.
Steeton followed up their opening day win with a 3-1 victory over Salt Old Boys on Saturday. goals were scored by John Best, Gavin Baluk and Ryan Hook.
Colin Horsfield scored both Keighley Shamrocks' goals as they recorded a 2-1 victory over Marsden.
Steeton Reserves beat Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves 2-1 with goals from Simon Perryman and Joynal Ali. Silsden reserves beat Campion 2-0 wtih John Chapman and Marcus barnes on target.
On Wednesday Silsden raced away with a 3-0 victory over Otley Town. Scorers were Mick Ward, Martin Bland and Gavin Finn.
Keighley Phoenix could not follow up their success on Saturday when they slipped to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Campion. Keighley Shamrocks played out a 1-1 draw with Salt Old Boys, Joe Brady scoring the goal to pull level in the second half.
A Jamie Longley hat-trick gave Steeton a share of the points against Dudley Hill Rangers.
The Summerhill Lane side were 3-2 down at the break with Longley equalising to grab a share of the points.
Zn Boltmakers clinched a 3-2 victory over Horsforth park Rangers int he Combination Cup final, between the winners of the Wharfedale Triangle League and the Wharfedale Sunday Premier Division.
Boltmakers finished third in the Wharfedale Premier last season but because the first and second placed teams had moved to another league Bolts stepped up to play the champions of the Wharfedale Triangle.
After 10 minutes a long range shot beat Steve Hall in the Bolts goal but he later saved a penalty. Horsforth also hit the corssbar as their pressure continued.
After the break Cameron Farnell levelled with a brilliant individual goal and Liam Houldsworth gave Boltmakers the lead from close range.
Martin brown added a third after 75 minutes.
Horsforth rallied in the later stages, but Bolts hel out to claim the Combination Cup for the first time.
