Silsden cyclist John Flanagan put on an impressive performance to win a 58-mile race in Lincolnshire last weekend.
John, a member of the Bronte Wheelers/Neophix club, clinched victory in the Stuart Reader Memorial race at Great Limber in North Lincolnshire with an impressive sprint up the final hill.
The race, which was for second, third and vet category riders, saw Flanagan pushing the pace on his own before being reeled in by the pack.
He then joined a small breakaway group which was also caught.
On the final lap a group of 20 riders reformed and John jumped away from the group on the final hill 200m from the line and held out to take the tape.
He also won the Prime race-within-a-race event.
