A teenager has appeared before magistrates at Bradford Youth Court on a firearms charge.

The 16-year-old boy, who comes from Keighley but cannot be identified for legal reasons, is accused of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

The alleged event is said to have been committed in Keighley on August 23.

He was granted unconditional bail to return to court on October 3.

Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
