An army of Council staff are working round the clock cleaning up Bingley's Myrtle Park after one of the district's biggest open air music events took place there at the weekend.
The clean-up, which is being carried out by Bradford Council's parks and landscapes team, is expected to take up to three days.
Around 27,500 people converged on the site to enjoy the spectacular musical experience which featured acts including Bradford's own pop sensation Gareth Gates, chart-toppers Atomic Kitten, and Gareth's former Pop Idol rival Darius. The Party in the Park was hailed as one of the Bradford district's biggest and most successful events.
Although the event passed without any reports of trouble, the crowds left behind a pile of rubbish with their picnics.
A Bradford Council spokesman said: "Our parks and landscapes team is working hard to clear the site, which we expect to take around two or three days."
